Info for Brides
Planning a wedding can be a daunting task, I know
because I went through it myself just this year!
Once you have a date and venue, choosing a photographer usually isn't too far off. As with many wedding suppliers, the choices
and options are endless and after hours on Google,
everything can start to blur into one.

Here are some things to ask yourself when looking
at photographers:

How do I know I'm hiring a professional?

- A professionally trained photographer would have graduated from some level of higher education course in photographic arts.
A photographer who has studied in their field will have a well rounded knowledge of all aspects of photography including editing skills, business management and new technology.
So remember to ask your photographer where they
learned their trade.

Am I comfortable with the photographer?

- Keep in mind you'll be spending most of your wedding day with this person, from the time you get dressed in the morning until you cut your cake that night. You need to feel that you can communicate well with them and that they will deliver what you're paying for.

Do I like their style?

-Do some research and get an idea of what look and
style you want for your own images.
Do you like dramatic posed shots?
Or something natural and candid?
How much editing or Photoshop work do you like?
Just some basic tweaking or elaborate effects?
Once you know what you're after, it will be easier to narrow down
your choices based on images you find yourself drawn to.
Ask your photographer what style he or she likes shooting and
discuss what you'd like for your wedding.
